At play group the other day I discovered another fantastic (and cheap) activity for kids!
What you need:
A pavement/verandah/concrete slab
Chalk
Thick paintbruch
Bucket of water
First get your kids to draw using the chalk. Then using the paintbrush and the bucket of water, 'paint' over the chalk drawings. The chalk kind of melts and it looks pretty cool.
