Day 7 Potato Painting Wrapping Paper

We recently ran out of Christmas wrapping paper and instead of buying more I thought I would get my 2 year old to design some herself (who doesn't love getting home-made gift paper!) using paint and potato stamps (see picture below). 

Stamps

What you need:

1-2 potato stamps, (I made a Christmas tree, star, oval & diamond)

Paper,

Red & green paint.

(you could also use could also use leaves and other garden bits)

Stamping away!

Basically I let my toddler 'go to town' with the paint, stamps and paper to design her own Christmas wrapping paper...

Drying in the wind

A thoroughly messy activity- but very enjoyable!

And the end product? Absolutely gorgeous!
