I loved watching Winnie the Pooh as a child. Who didn't? Not only did it have good entertainment value but it also gave us good one liners such as;
"When having a smackerel of something with a friend, don't eat so much that you get stuck in the doorway trying to get out." - Winnie the Pooh
| Not bad for a first go- my photo doesn't do them justice |
And even though Winnie the Pooh constantly got stuck in doorways and windows we still loved him. Just because he had a weakness for honey. And we all have our weaknesses. Mine? My sisters cake.
She recently came to visit and made us fresh delicious banana bread (yes we found bananas for $8 per kilo!) and pancakes.
She also made a new untried creation 'cake pops'. She cooked a cake, crumbled it up, mixed it with icing, rolled it into balls, stuffed each ball with marshmellows and then dipped them into chocolate and covered with nuts. Oh yes, and she stuck paddle-pop sticks in them. Needless to say I loved them... a bit too much! Luckily for my waist, my sister doesn't visit very often. But they were definitely worth it. She certainly knows how to bake a cake!
