Mother's Day Card for 1-2yr olds

This is a very simple and quick idea for a Mother's Day card.

What you need:
Ripped up tissue paper
Paper
Marker
Glue

An adult needs to draw a large heart on the front and write the words 'Mum, I love you to pieces!'

Children can simply glue the tissue paper onto the heart giving it a 'pieces' look.
An easy peasy Mother's Day card for a 1-2 year old!

Alphabet 'J' Activities

J is for Jigsaw... We got out our stash of jigsaws and did one everyday (girls loved this!). Miss 2 also made her own dinosaur jigsaw ($2 from a cheap shop).
J is for Jobs... Miss 3 and Miss 2 helping to sort the clothes and put them away. We have two very happy helpers!
J for Jellyfish... A lovely paper plate with crepe paper creation!
J for Jesus + Jellybeans... We used some lovely 'scratch & sniff' jellybean stickers and some Jesus stickers to fill in the letter j.
J is for Jack & the Beanstalk... We have several variations of this story but I chose a little pop-up book with only a short story. The girls really enjoy colouring-in after reading a story.
J is for Jam... Miss 3 is now making her own sandwiches and of course she is over the moon with this step of independence and I must say I'm quite happy to have the help!

J is for Jumping... Jumping on our new trampoline!
J is for Jewellery... We colour sorted buttons and then made bracelets!

J is for 'Jack jump over the candlestick'... I don't have a photo of this one but we put a candlestick in the middle of the room and took turns at singing this nursery rhyme and pretending to be Jack and jumping over the candlestick.
'J' stories...

'J' for jaws... We learnt about piranha jaws and what they eat, where they live. Miss 3 was quite fascinated!

'J' songs... We sung 'Jesus Loves Me' and 'Jingle Bells'... both classics and the girls love it when we have sing-a-long time.
